PROJECTS

Whole Health Solution

Alternative Therapy Center

68,125 Square feet

For my senior thesis project, I took a glass blowing studio and retail shop located in Chico, CA and transformed it into a natural treatment center. It features a yoga studio, massage therapist, acupuncturist, chiropractor, medical marijuana cafe, and public classroom. The objective was to create an alternative treatment center that works the mind, body, and spirit and provides a comfortable place of healing and community.

C4 Inc

Advertising Agency

6,514 Square feet

Create a new office interior design for C4 Inc Advertising Agency by including a recycled element. This space must reflect the company's brand as well as efficent work environment.

This space is located in a multi level building and is on one floor in San Francisco. In the design, I was to incorporate a "Trash to Treasure" object. I used broken wine bottles for an architectural feature and room separation.

Imagineers

Daycare Center

3,858 Square feet

I wanted to create a dynamic environment for children to feel free to be themselves and express their own thoughts. The kids are given a “blank canvas” to create without restrictions and use their imagination. Using bright colors and bold shapes encourages kids to look beyond the limiting forms and basic concept. Origami is a reoccuring element with the idea that someone can create something out of anthing ordinary. This folding and unfolding look increases discovery and invention to stimulate the mind.

Waves

Fusion Restaurant & Bar

6,812 Square feet

My goal was to create a restaurant that encompasses the Fuji vibe and relaxing space for dining and entertainment. Inspired by the colors of a Fiji temple and modern conveniences, this dining terrace has sweeping views, opulent seating, and a soothing atmosphere.

The ceiling is a focal point for the space, which is repetative organic waves that move along the ceiling at different heights made of wood with small rope lights weaving in and out of the wood.

Local Squeeze

Smoothie Bar

805 Square feet

The project was to include a suggested name, branding and identity program, and typology design via 3D modeling.

The extreme contrast of ceiling heights with a

subtle color radiating from the light tubes

creates an intimate atmosphere. The idea behind this look is to feel like you are at the bottom of a blender looking up at the fruit.
